Swimming pool salt – added to a pool for conductivity of chlorine generator electrodes. Pool Salt can also be used without a chlorine generator, to soften the feel of pool water.
When installing a new chlorine generator, the typical requirement is (2x) bags of 25Kg pool salt per 10 000 litres of water. For existing chlorine generator installations requiring top-up pool salt, please consult your local HPG branch or pool shop with a water sample to test the salt levels in your swimming pool.
