Description
White – POOLGUARD® is a specialist coating system for the coating of swimming pools. It is designed for both the DIY pool owners and pool contractors. Developed in 1985, the POOLGUARD® formulation is tried and tested, and has become a trusted name in the industry.
POOLGUARD® is ideal for refurbishment projects and is suitable for cementitious – gunite, marbelite and or concrete swimming pools. It is flexible, tough and designed to withstand UV, chlorine, lime and dilute-acid solutions. The coating does not soften, flake or blister and is ideal for both chlorine and saline pools.
POOLGUARD® can be used to re-coat fiberglass surfaces. This process does however requires POOLGUARD® specific Fiberglass Primer and is dependent on the correct surface preparation of the area to be re-coated.
POOLGUARD® is also suitable for lining cold water tanks or farm dams where a water-resistant, impervious coating is required. It is however NOT suitable for use in drinking water storage apparatus.
